A brief overview of Isocells Products

Diva Forte reacts to ambient humidity. In the winter months the pores of the membrane decrease in size, preventing hot, moist, heated air from passing through the membrane into the insulation. During the summer months, due to ambient humidity and temperatures, the pores of the membrane increase in size, allowing any potential moisture within the structure, to dry back out towards the inside of the dwelling. The variable vapour permeability ( ) of Airstop Diva ranges from 0.2 to 20.

This vapour barrier protects the construction from condensation caused by diffusion. It ensures a controlled and regulated diffusion of water vapour through the thermal insulation. Like all of Isocell’s membranes products it is extremely durable. Due to its strength it can be used as a retaining airtight membrane for blown in insulation. Please follow our product guidelines.

Airstop Sealant ‘Sprint’ is an adhesive sealing compound for a permanently elastic airtight seal at gaps, joints of building components and butt-joint overlaps in dry lining (with the exception of a swimming pool environment). Used for installation of windows and doors in accordance with the higher Austrian standard of ÖNORM B 5320 and/or DIN 4108-7.

Isocell Airstop Elasto Adhesive Tape is slightly ex-pandable, suitable for many areas including vapour retarders, barriers, OSB, DWD panels, wood, masonry and metal, indoors and outdoors. Prime masonry with Isocell Bubi LF Bonding Primer if necessary. Due to its malleability it is suitable for around small pipe and wire penetrations.

Airstop Adhesive Tape is a tear-resistant tape with adhesive generously applied and is suitable for a variety of bonding applications, indoors and out. It is a semi-rigid tape suitable for applying to straight joints, along substrates such as plywood, OSB and membranes. Its reinforced make-up makes it resistant to tearing. If you require the tape to be plastered or painted over, then please use our Airstop Flex Tape.

Airstop Flex Adhesive Tape is slightly expandable, tear-resistant. This is probably the best tape available in its category on the market, extremely versatile in its use, easy to work with, comfortable to the touch, and highly suitable for a range of applications.

F1 is installed to the face of the existing frame or after the frame has been installed. The tape is covered via a plywood lining, plastered in or covered with the installation of a plasterboard/insulated reveal. The adhesive strips appear on one side of the tape. Isocell Airstop Window Tape is a foldable adhesive tape with tear-resistant backing strips that can be pulled off individually (15mm/20mm/25mm) for an easy and effective seal of the airtight joint at window and corner connections. Working temperature: from -5°C. Available with additional acryl adhesive strips for adhesion on either side of frame! Joint connections to the higher standards of RAL and ÖNORM B5320 achievable.

Butyl Stretch Flex is used particularly as a seal at penetration points through air-tight vapour control layers, roof/facade membranes, OSB and plywoods. Due to its great flexibility the tape can be positioned easily around any size opening that requires sealing. Its extremely good adhesive properties allows it to work on a variety of substrates, mostly without a primer. Its malleability allows it to be neatly pressed down, sealing any form or shape.

Bubi LF Bonding Primer is a quality, solvent-free primer for preparation of the substrate to optimize the adhesive properties of acrylate, butyl and bitumen-rubber adhesive tapes. It can be used on all absorbent, mineral substrates, e.g. concrete, cement plaster, cellular concrete, brickwork and sand-lime bricks that are finished flush. Application is also possible on polystyrene panels. Bubi LF Bonding Primer is self-adhesive and resistant against humidity and warm temperatures.
